This written guide is complete now. A focused video for this exact topic will be added here after recording.

Planned

Suggestions add a separate row of likely apps. Categories add filter chips based on factual app categories and user-created groups. The main app grid remains stable.

How to do it

  1. Open App Drawer → General and enable Suggested apps.

  2. Enable Categories, then create, rename or remove a category from an app's menu.

  3. Use Restore automatic categories to bring deleted built-ins back.

  4. Choose whether the Drawer starts in search and whether Grid shows its search bar.

  5. Enable Quick launch and the soft scroll edge if desired.

  6. Enable the A–Z rail, choose its side, auto-hide behaviour and haptics.
